MEMPHIS PROJECT.

As a designer and maker, I am inspired by patterns and colours that are around me. The vibrant colours and graphic patterns of the Memphis movement is of particular interest to me. I aim to create glassware that captures the essence of Memphis and the pop arty feel. Pushing the limits of hot glass to create interesting forms, influenced by Scandinavian glass. This has pushed my understanding and craft practice further, learning to control the molten material with colour that react differently with one another has been an exciting challenge.
